Inaplast Status of Innovation operates in three segments: Moulds, Plastics and Aluminum. The moulds manufacturing unit was established as Industrial de Ferramentas BG in 1978, in Bento Gonçalves, RS. It was founded by Nelson Basso and other four friends.

In 1985, Lourenço Gregio enters into the partnership. Over the years, only Gregio and Basso have continued in charge of Inaplast.

The Plastics segment, the second major business of Inaplast, was set up in 1992.

Due to the success in supplying moulds and plastic products, in 1998 Inaplast’s customers began to request the development of aluminum accessories for furniture. That is when Inaplast Aluminum was established as one of the pioneering companies in the manufacture of these components in Brazil.

Starting with the production of a small line of legs for upholstered seats, Inaplast currently has a broad portfolio of injected aluminum bases for armchairs, chairs and tables.

Inaplast develops intelligent customized solutions required for moulds, plastic injection and aluminum, with continuous focus on innovation.
